Our favourite place!

Very nice setting although could do with signs as to where to park. Although the cafe was far from full there was quite a long wait for the coffee which was very nice but not very hot. None of this would stop me going again and I would go for lunch next time to try the food. I also thought there was a farm shop there, but again no signage as to where it was! So another missed opportunity.

Was fine as a short break retreat, we booked this for New Years weekend and got what we expected. the sitting room end of the property is all log fires and comfy sofas so pretty much lived up to what we wanted. Kitchen was OK and bedrooms clean and tidy The outlook (away from the road) is nice, and some good walks up to the downs are pleasant.

My wife and I stayed in the Calf Shed and it was lovely. Nice and secluded with great views across the valley. Good access to the surrounding area, both walking trails and driving over towards Salisbury and not too far to the New Forest or Bath. The accommodation is great, comfy and very welcoming.

Lovely cottage, spacious, has everything you need and all top quality. Owner very welcoming. Will stay again.

Well equipped, clean, friendly, great place to take a load off
